Bonifacio Aleman on restoring his voting rights

Bonifacio Aleman is a resident of Kentucky with a prior felony conviction. He did his time and paid his debt to society, but he still cannot vote. As a citizen, he wants his voting rights restored, so he too can have a say in how his community is governed. He is one of the plaintiffs in Lostutter V. Bevin, a lawsuit that seeks to ensure that voting rights are not arbitrarily restored.
